Splash pad

We went to the splash pad by the fountain of Fountain Hills with my sister and her kiddos. It was so awesome! The girls loved it, and since it wasn't that hot of a day, we were the only ones there. To turn the water on, you would have to rub the top of this post. The kids loved that part.

Brooklyn. See the post behind her? The black part on the top is where you rub your hands.

There was a lot of jumping...

and running....and jumping....and yes, more jumping.

Chloe watched.

With Melanie.

Brrr.

Hannah demonstrating her courage.

Happy despite being sprayed in the face unintentionally. The water had gone off, so Hannah put her face really close to the hole in the ground where the water used to be. Meanwhile, Natalie had gone over to the post and turned the water on at that exact moment. Hannah got a big spray all over her face and head. It was hilarious!

It was a really fun day!

Kites

Here are some pics of us flying kites back when it was lovely weather.
Natalie was sad and Hannah was comforting her. Awww, sisters.
A sign of Hannah being done with an activity: wanting to be held despite how uncomfortable it may be.
This is about as high as the kite ever got, I'm afraid.
My little punkin, growing up fast.

Katie's baby shower

Melanie and I (mostly Melanie) threw a family baby shower for our sister Katie.

Speaking of Melanie, here she is, the talented crafty genius.

Here is the little squish himself. I just love him so much. Have I mentioned that?

I made these. Cake pops from Bakerella. Mmmmmmm. We had a great time. Love you Katie!

Bowling

We went bowling for the first time ever as a family (and since Mark and I got married) a few weeks ago. It was soooo fun! Natalie LOVED it, and Hannah was mildly interested but mostly overstimulated. They gave us free arcade cards so we played to our hearts content afterwards.

Don't you just love my socks?

Goofing around

Here are some recent pics of the girls just goofing around. They looked hilarious with balloons in their shirts (I had to get some of my t-shirts out so the balloons would fit).

"Going to sleep" together in the hall. I love how Hannah missed the pillow when she layed down.

Kishpaugh visit

Once there were two friends, Katie and Alisa (and Josh and Mark). They had their first babies at the same time.

Ava and Natalie grew and were friends as babies, but sadly the Kishpaughs moved away.

So now they visit each other here and there.

And they dropped in for a visit a couple of weeks ago. It was soooo fun to see them again.

Ava brought her little brother, Thomas. I loved his cheeks. He loved the play-doh.
They just love each other so much. Glad we could have a visit!!!
