laundry fun

Yes, you read that correctly. Whenever I wash the kids' clothes, the kids love to have a "clothes fight." We toss the clean clothes all over each other, bury each other, make a big pile and jump in it, etc. Sometimes we try to wear the clothes unconventionally:
Just a spoonful of sugar to help the medicine go down!

Playing in the rain

Today it rained. The girls went outside to play in it and had a blast! Hannah mostly. She loves water and was fascinated that it was coming out of the sky. She and Natalie were wet and cold but I guess it was worth it to have a rainy day adventure. Hannah wanted to keep playing out there long after Natalie was done. They were so cute!

Don't ask me what they are looking at.

Hannah kept trying to catch the big drops from the roof. Mark and I were laughing so hard.

Yes, she had to taste it too.

She ran up and down this little walk over and over.
I hope this rain cools things off for a little longer. I am NOT looking forward to hot weather.

check this out

Please please take a peek at my photography blog (click here). I learned some new stuff and tried it out yesterday at Katie's maternity photo shoot. I'm really excited about how they turned out!
PS. Katie is my sister if you didn't know.

Fun with edible paint

Yesterday was one of those days...you know, the kind where you don't have any particular places to go, the house is pretty clean or you don't feel like cleaning, it's not quite time to make dinner, and you've already done all the crafts and games you can think of? Well, I decided to make pudding finger paint. I made vanilla instant pudding (sugar free, mind you) and divided it in four cups and colored each one a different color. Then the kids went to town. Natalie figured out it was tasty right away and mostly ate it. Hannah just squished it with the occasional lick.

Things went from clean....

to messy
real quick.

Natalie making herself messy on purpose to be like Hannah.

Then it was straight into the tub, which gave us another fun thing to do! The girls loved it all.
