Natalie never used a pacifier. I tried a few times half-heartedly, because I was sort of against them b/c of all I've read about the negative effects they can have. I have since changed my mind.
A couple of weeks ago my mom was rocking Hannah to sleep for me (which involves lots of walking, bouncing, and shhh-ing) and saw a pacifier sitting out somewhere. She washed it up, popped it in, and Hannah was asleep in no time. She LOVES it.
I have been converted to the world of artificial nipple-hood.
