It will happen...

Ok. I think my hopes are finally awakened that it might cool down this year. Today it was only 102 outside. It has been so "cool" that Natalie and I actually spend time daily in the backyard playing on the slide (ok, well I sit on a lawn chair) and we even went to the park. Today when we went outside to get Mark from the bus at 5:30pm it was probably a bit under 100 and Natalie said, "brrrrr!" It was hilarious.

We were outside last night at about 8 and Lilly said she needed a blanket. I don't think she knows what I jacket is yet :)

I got the fabric from Joanne's! Don't you love it?! It is normally 6.99 a yard. It would make such a cute nursing cover, you should go grap a yard!

Interesting that you mention this... I too have been truly enjoying the "cool" weather around here lately. My car's air conditioner gets cold so much faster if the temperature is even slightly below 100. I've noticed the difference.

It was 54 degrees outside today... I was nervous that I didn't put a jacket on Zeke before going to church. I don't think he noticed though. BEAUTIFUL!!

We too have been enjoying the "cool" weather. I was freezing in the car with the AC set at the normal temp and I love that I don't break a sweat walking to the mailbox! This is the time of year we remember WHY we live in the desert.

I've been starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel too. Tarah & I have noticed lately that when we go outside at 5 am to run, it actually feels pretty good. :) I'm SOOOO excited for the "fall"! :)

It's pretty warm here too, but I don't think it's quite as warm as it is there...although I'm sure it's close! Alaura's done the same thing to me, infact she slept in her winter feety pj's the other night...I was sure she would melt!!!
